It is an installation from official Microsoft media configured for your needs: drivers, available updates, account and privacy preferences, startup settings, and an agreed list of applications. It is not a separate edition of Windows or an unofficial activation method.

For our service, it means removing optional promotional applications and unwanted startup items you select. We document the changes and retain Windows Security, updates, recovery tools, and required device software. It does not mean removing every built-in app or eliminating all telemetry.

Some computers may be candidates after assessment. We check why the device fails eligibility, whether supported settings or hardware upgrades resolve it, and whether drivers and your applications are suitable. If we offer an unsupported installation, we explain the limitations and obtain written approval first. Microsoft does not support Windows 11 on ineligible hardware, and updates, including security updates, are not guaranteed. Compatibility problems may occur; Microsoft states that damage due to incompatibility is not covered by the manufacturer warranty. Not every PC qualifies.

There is no guarantee. An update working today does not establish eligibility for future security or feature updates. Future upgrades may fail or need additional work. We test available updates at handoff and explain the support scope in your written quote; this is not a promise of future Microsoft support or updates.

You need a valid license for the installed edition. An existing digital license may cover a reinstall on the same device. We check eligibility and activation before proceeding, and quote any required new license separately. Custom setup does not include an activation bypass.

Yes. We use official Microsoft Windows media rather than third-party modified Windows images. Tools such as Rufus can prepare installation media, but do not supply a Windows license or make unsupported hardware officially supported.

Timing depends on hardware health, download speed, backups, and the applications to restore. We give you a turnaround estimate after assessment. Large migrations or a failing drive need additional time.

We identify the failed requirement and review practical options. These may include enabling supported firmware settings, a hardware upgrade, an individually assessed unsupported installation, Linux where suitable, or replacing the device. We explain the tradeoffs before you decide.

It depends on the problem. A reset can be sufficient for routine software issues; a clean install offers control over the initial setup and can remove manufacturer customizations. Both require backup planning. Neither repairs faulty RAM, a failing drive, or other physical hardware problems.

A clean install can erase data, so I always discuss backup options before starting. Important files can usually be backed up first.

Yes. If Windows will not boot, updates keep failing, or drivers are broken, bring it in and I will diagnose whether repair or reinstall is the better option.
